Setting your limits

You can set limits in the spend and play settings section of your National Lottery account. This includes the amount you can spend and deposit across a 7-day rolling period, to the number of Instant Win Games you can play in 24 hours. Reducing your limits takes effect immediately. If you increase your limits, it will take 24 hours to come into effect.

Spend limit

Before you play, it’s helpful to set limits. The spend limit includes both what you have deposited into your National Lottery account and any winnings.

Deposit limit

Decide on your budget and set a weekly deposit limit. This will help ensure you only deposit what you can afford.

Play limit

Setting a daily play limit will stop you playing more Instant Win Games than you intend to. It will limit the number of games you can play and try in a day.
